As a proven leader at some of the nation\u2019s most impactful public policy and financial services institutions, she will bring decades of housing policy and finance expertise to the role. She is a staunch champion of advancing racial equity and fair housing opportunities for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"content-wrap-item post__paragraph\">\u201cMs. McCargo has long been a leader in research and advocacy to eliminate barriers to homeownership access, close the racial homeownership gap, and address wealth disparities \u2014 all issues that are integral to NFHA\u2019s fair housing mission. She was also a leader in advancing solutions to preserve housing security for millions of people during the COVID pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"content-wrap-item post__paragraph\">\u201cWe are grateful that Ms. McCargo will continue to be a part of the strong leadership team at the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
